top-hotel-praha-kongresDear Ladies and Gentlemen,

On behalf of the Board of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors, it is my pleasure and honor to invite you to the Central and Eastern Europe Internal Audit Conference. The conference will take place from 4 to 5 November, 2015 at TOP HOTEL Prague, one of the largest congress hotels in Europe, and at the UNESCO listed Staropramen Brewery premises with the title „Energy from a traditional source“. The conference is a part of the 20th anniversary of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors.

Internal audit is currently trying to keep pace with the fast changing business world. The future of our profession is happening just now, in the melting pot of needs of our key stakeholders. There are traditions and sources which have made internal auditors successful in the corporate world but there is also a strong need for innovation and overall refresh of our profession to enable our success in the emerging future. That is why the conference is aimed at gaining a good understanding of how to build on our principles and make the best out of strengths and needs of our stakeholders.

To fulfil this goal we will provide you with the presentations of well-known speakers from our profession including the IIA Global Chairman. We have also invited the well-known CEE business leaders to share their ideas on how auditors can provide added value to shareholders and managers. One of the conference highlights will be the speech of Roman Šebrle, Czech Olympic winner and one of the best decathlon athletes of all times. His speech will inspire us how to energize ourselves and get successful in a highly complex environment.

During our conference, we are going to organize several social programs which will make you more familiar with the Czech cultural heritage. You will have the opportunity to experience the fairy-tale magical beauty of Prague and the unique beer culture.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, please come to Prague for Conference that will re-charge you!

Yours sincerely,

Tomáš Pivoňka

Chairman of the Board, Czech Institute of Internal auditors
